Dear Guests, thank you for choosing 5E VILLA Charme for your holidays.
From the terrace and veranda of the Villa you can admire in front of you the island of Ortigia (Unesco World Heritage) and distinguish the Maniace castle that throws into the sea at the extreme point of the ancient city and on clear days the huge Volcano Etna.
The Villa is located on the North-Eastern border of the protected Marine Reserve of Plemmirio; we recommend you to visit the cliffs tower over the shore.
The proximity to the sea of the Villa will allow you to always enjoy the fresh sea breeze.
ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
5E Villa Charme is equipped with the latest technologies for sustainability and respect for the environment. The Villa is certified “NZEB: Nearly Zero Energy Building”.
Observing everyday some simple behaviour you can increase the sustainability of our planet, such as starting the electrical appliances during the day (timers can help) using the energy directly produced by the Sun.
Villa is equipped with a recirculation system of controlled mechanical ventilation(VMC) that sanitize indoor air.
INSTRUCTIONS AND VILLA RULES
Air conditioning/heating: to turn-on press ON button – we suggest “silent” mode for the night. If you open the window the air conditioned could get off- pls check carefully that window handle are correctly closed. We guess you to turn off air conditioned when you leave Villa.
Armoured door keys: An automatic Code will be communicated for armoured door to digit for entering and leaving. Keys of the security door at ground floor are special and coded. The loss of one of security door’s key involves the cost of Euro 500,00 due to the complete change of the lock and keys that is necessary. Pls specify at your arrival if you need one or two set of keys.
Armchair: the one in living room is a reclining chair leaning on the top.
Barbecue: there is an excellent BBQ Weber Charcoal, located in the veranda on the ground floor. In case of use it is recommended to move it to open air and keep a distance of 3 Meter to the wall of the Villa.
Check-in: from 3 to 8 pm – Check-out from 8,30 to 10.00 am.
Cleaning during stay : upon request available service at the cost. Cleaning after your stay is included in reservation.
Door Handles of window:they are closed only if completely up or down , never let horizontal position.
Electrical Appliances : for the best use of the Villa’s appliances, pls refer to instructions manuals available on the Web in all languages:

• Washing / Dryer machine: instruction manual in the cabinet under the washbasin next to the washing m.
Deposit : cash at the arrival or by Pos -after check out will be returned within7 days.
First Aid Kit: located in the storeroom hallway first floor.
Fireproof Blanket: located on the shelves of the storeroom hallway first floor.
Fire extinguisher: located behind the door of the Laundry on the ground floor.
Hot Tub: available from mid may to mid October– will be prepared at the cost. Heating time according to season. Suitable for 5/6 people. Pls take a shower with shower gel and put a new swimwear before entering.
Iron / Ironing Board: located in Laundry on the Ground Floor.
Lawn Watering : in different times according to season. Pls ask for time if interested.
Outdoor showers: there are 2 comfortable and relaxing outdoor showers with hot/cold water: one at the ground floor, one in the terrace for cooling off during sun care. Both will be active in summertime only.
Playing Cards and Board Games : in the drawer under the television.
Shutters: electrically controlled by the buttons next to the windows. To lock the roller shutter to the desired height you need to press the central part of the button. The openings of the bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets sliding horizontally (windows door) or vertically (windows).Always CLOSE SHUTTER WHEN YOU LEAVE.
Solar Screens: on the veranda of the 1°floor are 4 solar screens available to protect against the sun and/or create more privacy. The buttons to operate them are located in the living room next to the right window door (under black head sculpture). It is recommended to close them in case of wind and never leave them open unattended. They are NOT EQUIPPED with wind sensors.
In the Terrace there is a large Solar screen to protect from Sun ; the open/ close and light button is before exit door. It can be stopped half way if you push in the middle of the button.
Spirits: the available bottle are complimentary during your stay.
Sunbeds: for your relax there are sun beds on the ground floor and on the terrace; please don’t move them between floors.
Tablecloths: they are located in the storeroom hallway 1° floor. They are of various sizes, each specific to each table of the Villa (see the labels on the envelopes). Pls pay attention to the antique wooden table in Veranda at first floor.
Technical rooms: Please do not access the technical rooms of the Villa, in particular: in the terrace behind the shower and the planters and in the Laundry (Boiler on the left, photovoltaic/storage system on the right).
Television: Netflix available- instruction to change language under the television.
Waste recycling: see instructions in the second drawer under the stove in the kitchen. If not made correctly a penalty of € 70,00 will be applied.
Wall Box to recharge electrical car: this service has a cost(to be required ) and has to be booked in advance because it has to be prepared.
Exit from the Villa: when you leave the Villa, please close all windows, shutter and armoured door with key/code. You can use the ENTER/EXIT buttons behind the entrance door at First Floor. BE CAREFUL don’t leave objects that can prevent the shutters from completely closing. ATTENTION : the two french door of Veranda 1° floor have no shutter.
Armoured door has to be always closed with key/code. In case of trouble the Insurance will not cover if Villa was not correctly closed and you will be responsible.
No invitation of other guest that do not stay in 5E Villa Charme is allowed, except agreement with property’s.
5E Villa is furnished with fine objects for the pleasure and comfort of your stay. We hope you appreciate and treat them with care.
